Maintaining the security of your personal data is a priority for Motability Operations Ltd, ("MO", "we", "us", "our") and we are committed to respecting your privacy rights. We are also dedicated to ensuring that your data is processed lawfully and fairly and being transparent about what data we collect about you and how we use it.
This Privacy Notice explains how we and our technology supplier collect and use the personal data you provide us during the registration and log-in process for the Go with the Motability Scheme App and the charging data gathered by the App.
It is important that you are aware that charging data will be collected and transmitted any time the Go with the Motability Scheme App is running in the background.

Once you have logged-in, the Go with the Motability Scheme App (''App'') will record and analyse your charging behaviour and charging data. All of your Charging Data will be collected and retained by the App.
The App will capture and send your specific location, time of starting the charge, end time of the charge, duration and speed of charge. This information will be used to build up a profile of how, where, when your car is charged.
We will use the journey data from the Go with the Motability Scheme App for assessing individuals' charging behaviour which are reflective of driving behaviour as well as other rating factors.
Your data may be used for the following purposes:
We will collect, process and retain your personal and charging data in accordance with data protection legislation and our policies on data retention. After seven years we will either delete or completely anonymise your data and so it is no longer identifiable to you. This allows us to use the charging anonymised data for statistical and analytical purposes
The information collected by the Go with the Motability Scheme App will be used by us for research and analytical purposes. Any information that our technology supplier shares with third parties will be made anonymous and will not contain any of your personal information. This will prevent personal data or charging data results being directly linked to You. We will use your personal data for communications that relate to your Go with the Motability Scheme App participation and will use your charging data for the purposes below
We and our technology supplier can use your personal information in this way because it is in our legitimate interests to provide the services in the most efficient way and understand charging behaviour We will always ensure that we keep the amount of your personal information that we collect and the extent of the processing to the absolute minimum to achieve this efficiency.
We may transfer your personal information to countries outside of the UK, where it is necessary for the purposes for which we collected it. When we transfer your personal data outside of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection afforded to it by implementing at least one of the following safeguards:
